Prompted by the good folks at the Polykill Podcast, after beating a game I’ll compose a ‘beat tweet’ and send it out on Twitter. This list will not include any beats I didn’t Tweet out or any Tweets with a misspelled hashtag (it’s happened, lol). I’m not the most prodigious beater out there, but I love what I do all the same.

Bought at launch, finally played Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks & I #JustBeatIt! It built upon & improved everything from Phantom Hourglass. @polykill #JustBeatIt Anodyne, a Zelda-like & lite. Takes after the GB(C) LoZ games, but has its own charm & mechanics to differentiate. This game hit me at just the right time. I started Dust: An Elysian Tail 14 months ago, but I #JustBeatIt! Blossom Tales is a 2D Zelda-like that I didn't take to right away. The non-grid based movement feels slippery, like low-key ice all game. I love a good puzzle game & Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is easy to love. Wonderfully creative while always remaining bite-sized.
